About Me
Your body is capable of more than you think, and probably more than you've been told.
I'm Kristyn McGeehan, and I've spent most of my life in movement. First as a professional dancer and choreographer, then as a coach, yoga teacher, and massage therapist helping people rebuild their relationship with their own bodies and what those bodies can do.
I hold an MS in Exercise Science, a NASM-CPT, an E-RYT 500 yoga certification, a Precision Nutrition Level 1, Girls Gone Strong certification, and a license in neuromuscular massage therapy. I lead with these credentials not to impress you, but because they truly shape how I coach. Every program I write is grounded in actual science, and every client I take on gets my full attention.
My training is primarily online, which means I work with people wherever they are. Your programming, check-ins, exercise library, and communication with me all live in Everfit, a straightforward app you can carry with you wherever you train. Whether you have access to a full commercial gym or you're working with your living room and a set of dumbbells, we can build something that fits. For clients in the East Cobb area who prefer a human in the room occasionally, in-person sessions are available on a limited basis to supplement your online programming.
I also teach yoga twice a week at Gruvn Yoga in East Cobb on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9am, and I do neuromuscular massage at two locations in the East Cobb area, working with the soft tissue and nervous system patterns that training alone doesn't reach.
Beyond my work, I'm also a geek. I LARP, I play tabletop, I go to conventions, and I play video games when I have the time. I tell you that because it matters to how I coach. A lot of my clients have active, irregular, physically demanding hobbies and they need programming that accounts for that. I get it from the inside.
If you're looking for a coach who will actually know your name, your history, and your goals, and who builds programs around your real life rather than a generic template, I'd love to talk.
